Ohio’s 529 Plan Announces Cleveland Indians College Savings Giveaway Winners

Cleveland Indians College SavingsThe Cleveland Indians and Ohio’s 529 PlanCollegeAdvantage, teamed up to help families with a student enrolled in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District to hit it out of the park for their higher education goals this summer.

One lucky family received a grand prize of a $10,000 college savings award to load the bases for their existing CollegeAdvantage Direct 529 account. Catherine Kratt and her family joined Ohio’s 529 Plan and the Indians for an award presentation at the Sunday, Aug. 25 game against the Kansas City Royals.

The second-place winner won an autographed Cleveland Indians jersey and six tickets to the Aug. 25 game against the Royals. The third-place winner won an autographed baseball bat from a Cleveland Indians player and six tickets to the Aug. 25 game against the Royals. The fourth- and fifth-place winners each received two tickets to the Aug. 25 game. Ten additional runners-up won a promotional prize.
