To celebrate the Cincinnati Reds’ 150th anniversary, the team and Ohio’s 529 Plan partnered to help fans of baseball and college savings hit a grand slam for their children’s higher education.
One lucky family received a grand prize of a $10,000 college savings award to load the bases for their CollegeAdvantage Direct 529 accounts. Fabienne Bohon and her family joined Ohio’s 529 Plan and the Cincinnati Reds for an award presentation at the Wednesday, Sept. 25 game against the Milwaukee Brewers.
The second-place winner won a Cincinnati Reds mascot visit to their child’s school and four tickets to the Sept. 25 game against the Brewers. The first and second runners-up winners each received two tickets to the Sept. 25 game against the Brewers. Six additional runners-up will win a piece of Cincinnati Reds 150th Anniversary memorabilia.
