As the Cleveland Indians head into the post-season of the 2020 baseball season, the team and Ohio’s 529 Plan, CollegeAdvantage, are extending the $10,000 college saving award giveaway until Oct. 28 to help Cleveland-area families to hit it out of the park for their higher education goals.
In July, the Indians and Ohio’s 529 made an $86,000 technology donation to Cleveland Metropolitan School District to help bridge the digital divide that schools have faced during the COVID-19 pandemic. The combined donation will provide over 300 hotspots powered by Sprint.
Now, the Indians and Ohio’s 529 Plan have partnered again to give away a $10,000 college savings award to open or to add to a CollegeAdvantage Direct 529 Plan to help with your family’s college saving goals.
The grand-prize winner will not only win the $10,000 college savings award but also six tickets to a 2021 Cleveland Indians game for the Grand Prize presentation. Three runners-up will each receive four tickets to a 2021 Cleveland Indians game and an autographed Indians item.
