April 7 2021 Zoom Call With 2021 CBJ Grand Prize Winner


Blue Jackets and Ohio’s 529 Plan Announce Our College Savings Assist Winners

The College Savings Assist Giveaway from the Columbus Blue Jackets and Ohio’s 529 Plan, CollegeAdvantage, ended in March.

Our grand prize winner, Tyler Price, has won a $10,000 college savings award! Tyler and her family will enjoy a check presentation at a home game next season. She plans to split the college savings award between her two children’s CollegeAdvantage 529 accounts. On April 7, Tyler received a congratulatory Zoom call from Gus Nyquist, #14, Forward/Left Wing with the Columbus Blue Jackets; Tim Gorrell, the Executive Director of Ohio's 529 Plan; Zach Galkin with the Columbus Blue Jackets; and Brian Hall with Ohio's 529 Plan.

The second-place winner will have Stinger virtually visit their child’s school next school year.

Eight runners-up will receive autographed Blue Jackets memorabilia.
