Office Of Ohio's 529 Plan Closed For Fourth Of July

The office of Ohio’s 529 Plan, CollegeAdvantage, will be closed on Monday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day. Our Customer Service Department will also be closed for the holiday. Our Customer Service representatives are available to assist you on regular business days from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET before or after the holiday.

While our office may be closed, you can always open an account online during the holiday. If you are already an Ohio 529 account owner, you can log in to complete transactions online as usual.

As an account owner, you can always use the READYSAVE 529 app to access your account information, track account growth, and make both one-time and recurring contributions from the bank account on file from your cell phone. You can download the READYSAVE 529 app now from the Apple and Google Play app stores. The app requires iOS 14 or higher for Apple devices and Android 7.0 or later for Android devices. Once you install the app, select Ohio’s 529 Plan from the list and log in with the same username and password you use to access your account online.

The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) will also be closed Monday, July 4, in observance of the Independence Day. Any transaction requested on a holiday, weekend, or after the NYSE closes will be processed on the next business day.

If you’re looking for something to do during this holiday weekend, check out to see what’s going on near you. Ohio History Connection will also host events across Ohio during this holiday.
