Ohio 529 Plan Closed For Memorial Day

The office of Ohio’s 529 Plan, CollegeAdvantage, will be closed on Monday, May 29, in observance of Memorial Day and 529 Day. Our Customer Service Department will also be closed for the holiday. Our Customer Service representatives are available to assist you on regular business days from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET before or after the holiday.

While our office may be closed, you can always open an account online over the holiday to start saving for education after high school.

If you are already an Ohio 529 account owner, you can use the READYSAVE 529 app to access your account information, track account growth, and make both one-time and recurring contributions from the bank account on file while our office is closed. You can download the READYSAVE 529 app now from the Apple and Google Play app stores. Once you install the app, select Ohio’s 529 Plan from the list and log in with the same username and password you use to access your account online.

The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) will also be closed Monday, May 29, in observance of Memorial Day. Any transaction requested on a holiday, weekend, or after the NYSE closes will be processed on the next business day.

There are many events around the state scheduled for the long Memorial Day weekend. Check out Ohio.org to see what parades, festival, tours and more are available to explore near you. Ohio History Connection will also be hosting events across the state at their sites statewide to commemorate this day.
