Ohio 529 Office Closed For Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

The office of Ohio’s 529 Plan, CollegeAdvantage, will be closed on Monday, Jan. 17, 2022, in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

 Our Customer Service Department (1-800-AFFORD-IT) will be closed for the holiday. Our Customer Service representatives are available to assist you on regular business days from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET before or after the holiday. 

While our office may be closed, you may complete transactions online as usual. You can contribute to your Ohio 529 Plan account or access accounts online 24/7. You can even open an account during the holiday. 

While our office is closed, you can use the new READYSAVE 529 app access your account information, track account growth, and make both one-time and recurring contributions from the bank account on file from your cell phone. You can download the READYSAVE 529 app now from the Apple and Google Play app stores. The app requires iOS 14 or higher for Apple devices and Android 7.0 or later for Android devices. Once you install the app, select Ohio’s 529 Plan from the list and log in with the same username and password you use to access your account online.

The  New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) will also be closed on Monday, Jan. 17, 2022. Any transaction requested on a holiday, weekend, or after the NYSE closes will be processed on the next business day.
