The office of Ohio’s 529 Plan, CollegeAdvantage, will be closed on Tuesday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day. Our Customer Service Department will also be closed for the holiday. Our Customer Service representatives are available to assist you on regular business days from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET before or after the holiday.
While our office may be closed, you can always open an account online over the holiday to start saving for education after high school.
If you are already an Ohio 529 account owner, you can use the READYSAVE 529 app to access your account information, track account growth, and make both one-time and recurring contributions from the bank account on file while our office is closed. You can download the READYSAVE 529 app now from the Apple and Google Play app stores. Once you install the app, select Ohio’s 529 Plan from the list and log in with the same username and password you use to access your account online.
The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) will also be closed Tuesday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day. . Additionally, the NYSE will close at 1 p.m. Monday, July 3, in advance of the holiday. Any transaction requested on a holiday, weekend, or after the NYSE closes will be processed on the next business day.

- Ohio Village will host an Independence Day Celebration on Saturday, July 1.
- Adena Mansion and Gardens in Chillicothe will host a 19th Century Independence Day Celebration on Sunday, July 2.
- Fort Meigs in Perrysburg will recreate an Independence Day celebration from 1813 on Tuesday, July 4.
