To celebrate 529 Day (May 29), Ohio’s 529 Plan, CollegeAdvantage, is pleased to announce three  sweepstakes with three teams to help loyal fans of baseball and savings hit it out of the park for their children’s education and career training after high school.

Cincinnati Reds College Savings Grand Slam

You can hit it out of the Great American Ball Park for your child or grandchild with the College Savings Grand Slam from the Cincinnati Reds and Ohio’s 529 Plan. To help with your family’s goals, the Reds and Ohio’s 529 Plan are teaming up to give away a $10,000 college savings award. The grand-prize winner will use this award to open or to add to an Ohio CollegeAdvantage Direct 529 Plan. The grand-prize winner will also win tickets to the Sept. 19 Cincinnati Reds game against the Atlanta Braves.

Cleveland Guardians Home Run

The Cleveland Guardians and Ohio 529 have teamed up again to help Northeast Ohio families to hit a Home Run for their savings this summer. One lucky fan will win a $10,000 college savings award to open or add to a CollegeAdvantage Direct 529. The grand-prize winner will also receive suite tickets to the Sept. 15 Guardians game against the Tampa Bay Rays.

Toledo Mud Hens Home Run Readers

Ohio’s 529 Plan are pleased to join the Toledo Mud Hens and Toledo Lucas County Library to support the Home Run Readers to help students and their families keep their reading skills strong over summer break with fun prizes from the Mud Hens. Register for the Home Run Readers with the Mud Hens first. Once enrolled, stop by the Summer Read Station when you visit one of the Toledo Lucas Library Branches to show them your enrollment message. The library staff will then provide you the Home Run Readers pamphlet, which contains more details about the program. Participants can also sign up to win additional prizes from Ohio’s 529 Plan.
