Ohio’s 529 Plan is proud to come alongside the Akron RubberDucks in support of their “Most Improved Student” program.
The Most Improved Student’ Program highlights students from local school districts that exemplify improvement in the classroom. This improvement is monitored by the teacher and provides flexibility on criteria they deem appropriate.
For 2024, the focus is to show improvement over the course of the summer. Students nominated by their teachers will be provided a flyer which provides information on how parents/guardians may formally nominate their child for the Akron RubberDucks “Most Improved Student.”
Each student nominated will receive one complimentary ticket for the Akron RubberDucks game at 6:35 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 12, with the opportunity to purchase additional tickets for family/friends.
One lucky student will be randomly chosen for the $529 college savings award from Ohio’s 529 Plan in advance. This program is open to any school from Northeast Ohio but is focused on the counties that surround Summit County.
