You can hit it out of the Great American Ball Park for your child’s or grandchild with the College Savings Grand Slam from the Cincinnati Reds and Ohio’s 529 Plan. To help with your family’s goals, the Reds and Ohio 529 are teaming up to give away a $10,000 college savings award. The grand-prize winner will use this award to open or to add to an Ohio 529 account. The grand-prize winner will also win tickets to the Sept. 21 Cincinnati Reds game against the Chicago Cubs.

Toledo Mud Hens Home Run Readers
Ohio 529 Plan is also pleased to join the Toledo Mud Hens and Toledo Lucas County Library to support the Home Run Readers to help students and their families keep their reading skills strong over summer break with fun prizes from the Mud Hens. Northwest Ohio residents register with the Mud Hens first and then stop by the Summer Read Station at your Toledo Lucas Library Branch to show them your enrollment message. The library staff will then provide you the Home Run Readers pamphlet, which contains more details about the program. Eligible participants can also sign up to win a $2,500 college savings award from the Mud Hens and Ohio 529.
