Ohio 529 CollegeAdvantage supports many statewide outreach programs to encourage young, bright minds to stop the “summer slide.”
This summer, we are proud to partner for the first time with the Akron-Summit County Public Library (ASCPL) to support its 100 Years Of Summer Reading, which is open to readers of any age.
Starting today, June 9, and through Aug. 14, the summer reading program encourages families to develop and grow a love for reading.
You will earn many great prizes after 10 days of reading, 20 days, 30 days, 40 days, and 50 days. There are opportunities to earn additional grand prize raffle tickets, which include four $529 college savings awards from Ohio 529 to add to or open an Ohio Direct 529 account, an iPad, family fun packs, Cedar Point tickets and more!
You can register for 100 Years of Summer Reading online or pick up a paper tracker at any ASCPL branch.
The library will celebrate 100 Years Of Summer Reading Grand Finale at the Akron Art Museum from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 14.
