The Akron RubberDucks and Ohio 529 CollegeAdvantage teamed up to offer “Most Improved Student” program for the 2024-2025 school year.
The Most Improved Student’ Program highlights students from local school districts in the Akron/Canton area that exemplify academic improvement throughout the course of the year. Teachers used their own discretion to determine who will qualify.
Ohio 529 is committed to helping families prepare for the cost of their children’s college and career training so one winner received a $529 college savings award to add to or start their Ohio 529 Direct Plan account.
The “Most Improved Student” student winner enjoyed the May 22 game for the check presentation with Ben Gibbons, the director of marketing for Ohio 529 CollegeAdvantage. The winner, Clara Bernardo, enjoyed the game with her parents, Jana and Joseph.
