Since 2013, Ohio 529 CollegeAdvantage has partnered with Upromise to help families save more for their children’s and grandchildren’s 529 accounts without any extra effort.

Gregory S. of Mooresville, NC, was the grand-prize winner! He received a $1,000 college savings award to add to his children’s Ohio 529 accounts. There were two additional prizes of a $529 college savings award. James M. of Dayton, OH, won one of the $529 awards, which he placed in his children’s Ohio 529 accounts. He stated that, "currently having two children in college and all the expenses that entails, our family really appreciates the Upromise Scholarship that will help with education expenses. We have been members of Upromise since my oldest daughter was born and they have helped us save a significant amount to use for their education. Alysia R. of Sanford, NC, won the other $529 award for her children’s Ohio 529s. She shared that "we learned about Upromise from a friend 25 years ago while in seminary.
