Ohio 529 CollegeAdvantage proudly supports many statewide outreach programs to encourage young, bright minds to see all of life’s educational possibilities.
This summer, we are proud to partner for the first time with the Akron-Summit County Public Library to support its “ Unearth A Story” Summer Reading program, which is open to readers of any age. Summer reading can help students, their families, and their teachers fend off “ summer slide” and keep reading skills strong over the break.
Running through Aug. 1, the summer reading program encourages families to develop and grow a love for reading. You will need to have a library card to participate. If you don’t have one, you can apply online or at any library branch.
You will earn many great prizes after 10 days of reading, 20 days, 30 days, 40 days, and 50 days. There are opportunities to earn additional grand prize raffle tickets, which include four $529 college savings awards from Ohio 529 to add to or open an Ohio Direct 529 account, an iPad, family fun packs, Akron RubberDucks tickets and more!
