Ohio 529 Plan Office Closed On Labor Day

The office of Ohio 529 CollegeAdvantage will be closed on Monday, Sept. 7, in observance of Labor Day. Our Customer Service Department will also be closed for the holiday. Our Customer Service representatives are available to assist you on regular business days from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. EST before or after the holiday.

While our office may be closed, you can open an Ohio 529 account online over the holiday weekend to start saving for education after high school.

If you are already an Ohio 529 account owner, you can use the READYSAVE 529 app to access your account information, open a new account, track account growth, make withdrawals as well one-time and recurring contributions from your bank account on file while our office is closed. You can download the READYSAVE 529 app now from the Apple and Google Play app stores. Once you install the app, select Ohio 529 CollegeAdvantage from the list and log in with the same username and password you use to access your account online. If you don’t already have an account, you can create your username and password and open account.

The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) also will be closed Monday, Sept. 7, in observance of Labor Day. Any transaction requested on a holiday, weekend, or after the NYSE closes will be processed on the next business day.

If you’re looking for something to do during this holiday weekend, check out Ohio.org to see what’s going on near you. Ohio History Connection (OHC) is hosting events across Ohio during this holiday, including the Ohio Cup Vintage Base Ball Festival on Sept. 5-6 at the Westerville Sports Complex at 325 N. Cleveland Ave, Westerville.
