The office of Ohio’s 529 Plan, CollegeAdvantage, will be closed on Friday, Nov. 10, in observance of Veterans Day.
Our Customer Service Department will also be closed for the holiday. Our Customer Service representatives are available to assist you on regular business days from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET before or after the holiday. You can reach them at 1-800-AFFORD-IT (800-233-6734).
While our office may be closed, you can always open an account online over the holiday weekend to start saving for education after high school.
If you are already an Ohio 529 account owner, you can log in to complete transactions online as usual or use the READYSAVE 529 app to access your account information, track account growth, and make both one-time and recurring contributions all from your cell phone. You can download the READYSAVE 529 app now from the Apple and Google Play app stores. Once you install the app, select Ohio’s 529 Plan from the list and log in with the same username and password you use to access your account online.
The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) will be open. However, any transaction requested on a holiday, weekend, or after the NYSE closes will be processed on the next business day.

- National Veterans Memorial and Museum in Columbus will be hosting a Veterans Day ceremony in person on the grounds starting at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 11. If you would like to attend the in-person ceremony, you will need to register for the free event.

- Ohio History Connection is offering a "March Through Time" so families can to explore the state's and country's military history at the Ohio History Center 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov 11. Reenactors will be on hand in the museum for a variety of activities, including miniature war games. At Ohio Village, you can experience life in 1946 from the perspective of service members returning from WWII. Both events are free with admission.
