The office of Ohio 529 CollegeAdvantage will be closed on Thursday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth National Independence Day. Our Customer Service Department will also be closed for the holiday. Our Customer Service representatives are available to assist you on regular business days from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET before or after the holiday.
While our office may be closed, you can always open an account online during the holiday. If you are already an Ohio 529 account owner, you can log in to complete transactions online as usual.
As an account owner, you can also use the READYSAVE 529 app to access your account information, track account growth, and make both one-time and recurring contributions from the bank account on file from your cell phone. You can download the READYSAVE 529 app now from the Apple and Google Play app stores Once you install the app, select Ohio’s 529 Plan from the list and log in with the same username and password you use to access your account online.
The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) will also be closed Thursday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth National Independence Day. Any transaction requested on a holiday, weekend, or after the NYSE closes will be processed on the next business day.

Ohio History Connection will host the Juneteenth - Jubilee Day Festival, at the Ohio History Center from noon- 4 p.m. Thursday, June 19. Admission is free and the event includes historical interpretations, storytelling, and dance.
The 28th annual Juneteenth Ohio Festival will be held June 21-22 at Genoa Park in Columbus. There will be multiple events running from June 14-15 for the 38th annual Juneteenth Festival throughout Cincinnati. The Cleveland Juneteenth Freedom Fest will have many family-friendly events from 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. Saturday, June 14, at Mall C in downtown Cleveland.
Also in central Ohio, Juneteenth on the AVE will be held from noon-6 p.m. Saturday, June 21, with family-friendly celebration on Mt. Vernon Avenue in Bronzeville.
