Grow Your Account From Generous Gifts
Consider asking for college savings contributions in place of gifts for baby showers, birthdays, holidays, graduations and many other milestones and occasions in your child's life. Receiving gifts is simple. Grandparents, aunts and uncles, even family friends can add to your account, and contribute to your child's future in a very meaningful way.

Think you'll be receiving gift contributions by check? Simple. Give your friends and family members the following information to mail a check.
Once the gift contribution is received for your CollegeAdvantage account, it will be allocated among your investment options according to the "Contribution Allocations" instructions on file with your account. To verify or change your account allocation instructions, log in to your Direct Plan account and go to "Allocation Management, Contribution Allocations."
Non-account owner gift givers do not receive contribution receipts. Those who give gift contributions directly to a CollegeAdvantage account must keep their own records of contributions for Ohio tax deduction purposes.
